Five-Star Sloppy Joes recipe Ingredients
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1½ pounds ground sirloin
1 onion, chopped
1 green bell pepper, chopped
(optional)
1 teaspoon minced garlic
2 teaspoons all-purpose steak
seasoning
½ teaspoon red pepper fl akes
1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
2 cups canned tomato sauce
2 tablespoons tomato paste
Rolls or hamburger buns, for serving

Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium
heat, and when the oil is hot, sauté the
meat, onion, green pepper, garlic, and
steak seasoning until the meat is browned
and the onion and green pepper are limp.
Transfer the mixture to the slow cooker.

to mix well. Cover with the lid and cook
on low for 2 to 4 hours.
