Carrot Raisin Salad Recipe Ingredients
3 cups shredded carrots
½ cup diced celery
½ cup raisins, or more if desired,
plumped in hot water and drained
½ to 2/3 cup mayonnaise, or to taste
Juice from ½ lemon
Pinch salt
Carrot Raisin Salad Recipe Cooking Process
Toss together carrots, celery, and raisins.
Mix salad together with not too little
but not too much mayonnaise—just
enough to bind—and add the freshly
squeezed lemon juice. Season with salt
and mix again. Cover and refrigerate until
serving time.
Cook’s Note: Add 1 cup drained, canned
