Beef Roast with Onion Mushroom Gravy Recipe
Makes 6 to 8 servings
Beef Roast with Onion Mushroom Gravy Recipe Ingredients
1 (3- to 4-pound) beef roast, trimmed
of excess fat
1 (1.3-ounce) envelope onion soup mix
2 (10.75-ounce) cans cream of
mushroom soup
1 onion, chopped
2 tablespoons steak sauce
2 cups sliced fresh mushrooms
Salt and freshly ground black pepper,
to taste
Beef Roast with Onion Mushroom Gravy Recipe Cooking Process
Put the roast in the slow cooker. Combine
the soup mix, mushroom soup, one soup
can of water, onion, and steak sauce, and
pour over the roast. Cover with the lid and
cook on high for 7 to 9 hours. Add the
sliced mushrooms during the last hour of
cooking and adjust the seasonings with
salt and pepper, if desired.
