Round Steak Casserole Recipe
Round Steak Casserole Recipe Ingredients
2 pounds round steak, cut ½-inch
thick
Garlic salt, to taste
Salt and freshly ground black pepper,
to taste
1 onion, thinly sliced and separated
into rings
3 to 4 potatoes, peeled and quartered
(optional)
1 (16-ounce) can French-style green
beans, drained
1 (16-ounce) can peeled, whole
tomatoes
1 (10-ounce) can tomato soup
Round Steak Casserole Recipe Cooking Process
Season the steak lightly with garlic salt,
salt, and pepper. Cut into serving-size
pieces and put in the slow cooker with
onion. Add the potatoes, if using, and
green beans. Top with the tomatoes and
tomato soup. Cover with the lid and cook
on low for 8 hours. Remove the cover
during the last half-hour of cooking to
reduce the liquid, if necessary.
