Brats ’N Beer For Christmas Ingredients

2 bratwurst sausages per person

 Buns or rolls

 Beer

 Whole peppercorns, to taste

 Red pepper fl akes, to taste


Brats ’N Beer For Christmas Cooking Process

Variation 1

Pierce the sausages with a fork and place
them in the slow cooker. Pour on enough
beer to cover. Add the seasonings, cover
with the lid, and precook the sausages on
high for about 4 hours or until plumped,
juicy, and fully cooked. Timing isn’t
really critical. Go off to water ski or play
your guitar. When you return, fi nish the
sausages on the grill, browning them nicely.
Serve them on buns or rolls with corn on

Variation 2

If it’s raining and you can’t go skiing, pierce
the sausages with a fork, and brown on all
sides in a skillet. Place in slow cooker with
the beer and seasonings and fi nish cooking.
Hold on low setting until ready to serve.
Gather a bunch of friends and watch ski
